RE:anyone here good at math?

RE:anyone here good at math? HQ core is 6.35 cm in diameter.

Volume of a cylinder, in this case 500 metres of HQ core, would be 3.14 x (3.175cm x 3.175cm) multiplied by 500m (50,000cm) =1,582,500 cubic cm.

Using a kimberlite density of 2.50 grams/cubic cm yields a weight of 3,956.250 grams equivalent to
3.956 tonnes or 4.352 short tons.

So that should be a good sized sample weight for lab testing.

Hope this helps
