Land Auction Closes!I hear that the Government of NL closed it call for bids on on Friday evening for onshore oil and gas acreage on the West Coast.It will be interesting to see who the successful bidders are.
Vulcan has been pretty mum during the past two months, which leads me to believe that they didn't want to bring attention to the issue.Given Vulcan's ongoing interest in the area vis-a-vis its Flat Bay #1 discovery well, I suspect that the company has submitted bids for the prime acreage in the area.
The next few days should tell the story.As a Vulcan shareholder, I am keeping my fingers crossed in the hope of some positive developments.
