Petroleum Project manager to oversee its oil and gas operations in Western Newfoundland.This person must be experienced in drilling and completion operations from an engineering perspective.Duties to include:
*Confident and articulate expression of ideas
*Problem-solving analysis with a "can do" attitude
*Drill Program design, implementation and management
*Procurement of oilfield equipment and services
*Collaboration with consultants and government regulators
*Preparation of reports for regulatory compliance and corporate purposes
Vulcan is a public junior exploration company committed to the exploration and development of the onshore Bay St. George Basin in Western Newfoundland.The Company is commencing a three-well drilling program in mid-September.This is a unique opportunity to participate in the exploration and development of an unexplored basin with all the excitement, challenges and rewards that presents.Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications.The successful candidate must be registered as a P.Eng or P.Geo with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador or be capable of such registration.
