Int. Symposium on Oil & Gas in Western NfldOIL AND GAS CONFERENCE SET FOR CORNER BROOK NEXT WEEK (10/21/05)
The Humber Valley Resort located just outside Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador will play host to the First Annual International Symposium on the Oil & Gas Resources of Western Newfoundland on October 25-26, 2005.
This forum will expose explorers to the significant potential of onshore and offshore Western Newfoundland and provide participants with the opportunity to meet representatives of research institutions, current landholders and energy officials.
Some of the most prominent players in eastern North America will present their insights into the petroleum geology of Western Newfoundland and the business opportunities inherent in this new exploration frontier. This meeting will be a good lead up to the Canada-Newfoundland Offshore Petroleum Board’s 2005 Call for Bids which is scheduled to close on December 1, 2005 and includes four parcels in the Western Newfoundland Offshore Region.
