RE: anyone home?Couple things. Potential market manipulation due to the fact that vvc has such a small float and hence it takes very little in the way of shares trading to drastically move the stock price up or down. I think there is a good chance this has been happening for the last little while, for probably a few potential reasons (all the obvious market manipulation reasons... take your pick).
That said, one thing that may have also happened is that VVC and beaverbrook (most likely due to beaverbrook) may have not been able to secure funding to restart the antimony mine. It seems very unlikely that this deal will not happen, the value of antimony is much too high, and any bank would be silly not to issue a lending facility to beaverbrook or debt free VVC. Share issuing is always another option (although not a good alternative at this price -there comes the market manipulation possibility i was mentioning). One important note is that if they do not restart the antimony mine this summer they will most likely have to wait until next spring to restart, as i was told by charles that it is more difficult to start up in the winter. Either way not really a big concern of mine. Not too worried.
For those that are getting in right now... you most likely are getting one heck of a buy... turn off your computer and look back in a year, and you most likely will be very pleased. Ofcourse... one never knows, because if i did... just one time... I would be picking the 649 numbers correct for saturdays draw of over $40million lol. Who needs research and investing when you can do that!
