The Company is engaged in mining, mineral processing, exploration, project development, community and social sustainability, and rehabilitation within the West African country of Burkina Faso. It has two segments. Mining Operations segment comprises of the Sanbrado Gold Project operations located in Burkina Faso. Construction. Exploration & Evaluation (E&E) segment comprises mines under construction and exploration and evaluation projects in locations other than Sanbrado. The Sanbrado Gold Project is located approximately 90 kilometers (km) east-southeast of Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. The Project covers an aggregate area of 116 square kilometers (km2). The Kiaka gold project is approximately 45 km south of West African’s flagship Sanbrado Gold Mine in Burkina Faso and 110 km southeast of the capital Ouagadougou. The Toega Gold Project is located 14 km from its Sanbrado gold operation.

RE:West African Resources Hits 29m at 4.96 g/t Au from 128mSolid results consisistent with their previous statements. Supports the concept of an open pit start followed by underground work. Market reaction seems to be sell on the news. With four rigs working NRs should be more frequent.
