Since time began every company that has developed a marketable piece of hardware has devoted considerable time effort and money  trying to improve it's performance and reliability.
The objective is always "perfection" and the process is referred to as "series of successive approximations"
While perfection is unrealistic the effort pays off with a superior product.

WEE has/had no choice but to do the same with their technology if they are serious about becoming a major player in the oil recovery market
I have no problem with the program. What really irks me to no end is the "mushroom " treatment they have given us shareholders.. It has created frustration, a lack of trust and definitely hurt their credibility.
Bad optics Market wise which is why the SP has been beaten up.
A Diplomat is someone that can tell you to go to h3ll in such a way that you are looking forward to the trip.
They need someone like that to write their NR's that are factual but also positive and stress the upside.
Holding back on orders while they improve the performance of their Units is IMO a positive. Short term pain for long term gain.
They made it sound like a catastrophe.

While the  new Director is a plus. a new  experienced, qualified CEO would be the ultimate
