This year

This year
I do think this year is make-or-break for the company. And remember we are still only in February so there is 10.5 months to go. They will have this year to get a pilot plant running and do a proof-of-concept that their process will scale in a meaningful way and provide the refinement quality necessary. Benchtop processes don't always scale without running into problems so that is my chief concern ...that it scales with no surprises. If it doesn't, there may be no solution, or the solution may be much more complex, but there will be so much uncertainty that much of the interest and support for the company will evaporate along with their credibility. Remember, they said first pilot output of 4Q 2020, so if we can't get that by the end of 2021 that should tell us everything we need to know about our future prospects. But ...if they can then we have reached a significant milestone along a still lengthy road to production.
