RE:RE:RE:Isn't anyone outraged over this? (or even a tad curious?)The problem with having executives of publicly traded comply with the Corporate Act is the lack of enforcement by the Provincial and Federal governments. Provincial and Federal governments create the acts but the commercial courts enforce the laws with the act. So, if you want the BOD to demonstrate fidiucary duty, you'll need to hire a lawfirm and take the company to court. Until that happens, transparency exists during the good times.
There are two Acts in Canada that are enforced - Criminal Code
R.S.C., 1985, c. C-46 and Tax Act. CRA employs a group of lawyers, called the Directorette, to migation tax cases in the Canada Tax Courts. As for white collar crimes, RCMP Div 6 needs to step up there skills and IS systems. Bay Street is ahead of the game.
You want transparency out of WMG, host a EGM to take control or check the dockettes of other courts in Canada. I already mentioned one. This forum has gone full circle given I've posted this information in the past.
