Wind land is some of the most underutilized commercial land in the world. Wind mills leave a footprint of about 1% of the property. If the site has transmission, permitting, and abundant sunlight most sane people would agree that supplementing a wind park with a solar project makes sense. Considering the magnificent subsidies available for solar in the US and Canada...only an idiot would ignore the notion. In addition, the solar profile of peak power during the day, and the wind generation profile, of producing most of it's energy in the evening...make it a great mix. It dramatically increase the energy output and, revenue. So, shawshanker, go be angry on a different board. And next time, know what you are talking about
