It is possible that some of those Strategics are still dragging their feet and WND decides to not cut off what may be the highest bid.
Although WND would surely not want to gamble that less than 50% of the non-Brookfield shares would tender, the promise is a Director's Supplemental Circular, not specifically a new deal.
"TAKE NO ACTION until there is further communication from the Board of Directors in a supplemental directors' circular, which will be sent to shareholders at least seven days before the scheduled expiry date of the Offer."
But it is obviously Western Wind's intention to have a new deal AT LEAST 7 days before expiry of Brookfield's offer.
