RE: RE: RE: Why in Gawds name

What evidence is there that April is a "plant" instead of a fool or someone who thinks they are amusing or actually serious?

If she was trying to limit the price, wouldn't she say that Brookfield's offer will be the only real offer or something as unlikely? After all, $3.18 is obviously unlikely given that, while there may have been offers made, there are still companies doing due diligence.

Plus, a cash offer of $3.18 is still enough to motivate many buyers to get themselves a 10% return by buying shares at current levels; a return that is independent of what happens with the Fiscal Cliff, or Chinese growth or Eurozone debt problems. In fact, someone who was very pessimistic could accuse April of being a pumper (although not as big a pumper as those saying we are going to get $8).

The eventual reality is unknown at this point. This is especially true because the WND Board has to study all the offers and decide which is the best. They have a fiduciary duty to choose the best, but what is the best is never based upon price alone, The terms of the offers, such as

1. financing contingencies,

2. break fees,

3. material adverse event clauses,

4. whether they are paying in cash, common or preferred stock, debt, or some combination

also have an effect on what will eventually judged to be the best offer. Therefore, if April really has a network of busybodies snooping out the intentions of those doing due diligence, the gossip they come in contact with is unlikely to be accurate, given that

1. all offers have likely yet to be made and

2, the Board has yet to review and compare all offers to decide which is best

And April may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but she is obviously smart enough to know that giving an exact number, like $3.18, and repeat it over and over, is likely to get her some attention. And she surely likes the attention or she wouldn't give an exact number over and over..

And she is likely laughing at people on the board, every time she does attract attention, thinking to herself how clever she is.

Enjoy it April, as a Xmas present to you.

I prefer my Christmas present to be in cash and more than $3.18 per share and I think Jeff knows that.

Merry Christmas, Jeff!
