On the AQN conference call, AQN management supports the dissidents.   Mmmmmm.... I wonder could this be the Bore-mark email capping WND at $2.50 or the fact one of the dissidents owns 2.3 million share of AQN.  Its interesting that AQN owns no shares but would rather buy when WND is handed to them.

Interesting, was this from the conf call from last Friday?   I guess Savitr represents AQN then. Case closed.

An AQN increased divided should increase the AQN share price (by roughly the same growth - 11%).  If AQN was to bid on WND and offer shares, that means less shares per WND share as AQN will have been just bumped by the AQN board's decision to increase the dividend.

Show me the money, put the offer on the table formally, if that is all that they think it is worth then they should have no trouble buying the company lol. Hostile bid  works for me too. Just stop with the beating around the bush and management dissing. Put up or shut up

The conference call was "we would be interested in revenue producing assets" and that they "endorse the dissident process".  What is the dissident process?  Not having to neogitate with the current board?  Dissident's haven't proposed any other method, only a cheaper valuation.

My concern is that I don't think the dissidents are looking at buying out the whole company, just enough to get the 51% majority, in such case, they can ninja the company from the current management, and not have to fork over extensive amounts of time and resources to do the diligence to maximize shareholder value for all. This to me is reminscent of rogue takeover activity that made Wall

Xtrykr0,  Now that you mentioned that (51%), in the answer given in the conference call he only said Windstar.  I got the impression that they might intend to break WND into components and keep only Windstar.
