How to value a renewable energy company

I am sick and tired of people saying that asset - liabilities = equity! FALSE.

The asset is not th physical fibre and steel of the turbine it is the future energy production. How many KW it will produce X PPA rate by the life of the PPA. Pull that all forward and discount it. There you have your NPV AKA worth of this company

This guy has it down pretty good on the valuation: https://www.forbes.com/sites/tomkonrad/2012/07/20/western-wind-energy-a-matter-of-trust-and-value/ He states a 5-6 per share.

It blows my mind that YOU SHAREHOLDERS are saying 3bucks per share. It is INSANE and you guys dont even know what a NV is.

Most of you are simply out to lunch.
4.50-8bucks per share!

EASY big fellow !! You need to relax !! I can see a big heart attack in your future !!! We all have everything on the line with this one !! It is just a computer screen with people giving there opinions ! I believe in what you are saying but my blood pressure is not going up over what other people think ?

Thanks firefighter. You are right I need to take a step back here. I know that this puppy is worth 4.50 as a base case. I calculated it, forbes contributor calculated, third party has, the lending banks have, ect. It is what it is at this point, we shall see by the end of the year. Good luck to all!
