It looks like we are going to be waiting for a little longer now.

You could be right however I think offers will come with the provision that the inverters be accepted

Financial close at Yabucoa adds significant value per share.  There are a number of possibilities related to getting the best offer now that the uncompleted projects are now worth more money to the right buyer. 1. We could see Brookfield revise and extend its offer until after a Yabucoa close in obvious recognition that $2.50 is even more ridiculos now. 2. We could see any one of the bidders ...more

Well this part make me wonder, why a simple act such as a financial close which I figure is a foregone conclusion should impact a sale price and closing date which is past the Brookfield offer expiry date.  The completion of these outstanding technical issues and subsequent financial close will significantly increase the valuation of the entire company, which is consistent to our previous ...more

As I understand it, in order to have financial close, you have to not only have your PPA, but your total design & engineering package completed, including materials, and all approved by the local regulatory authorities. Happy New Year In your opinion, if wnd was worth 3.50 prior to today's news How much is added on a per share value. Just a ball park figure, I am thinking we could now see 4.25 to 4.90 Am I over aggressive?

Thanks that makes sense,  having to have all the pieces of the puzzle in place before  the banks and purchasers can  consider it a done deal. Just a matter of assembly after that.  So if that is the case and the buyer's are saying we will give you more when that is completed then I guess it is best  to hold off on the sale until that is completed even if Brookfield' ...more

Nakate,  happy new year Don't over think your self here as Agro mentioned there are ways to offer based on approvals being completed afterward This security will have multiple offers in the upcoming weeks

A fifty percent premium is not unusual which would put us at a 4.20 sale price.  Hard to figure in all that which the market is discounting for atm but it is fairly certain there is a substantial discount in effect. The Low ball effect of the Brookfield maybe making the gap even wider considering the markets general ho hum attitude towards this sector.
