RE: Harry - you still don't get it...
RE: Harry - you still don't get it..."If this was a discovery in the GOM or Alberta or Texas, the stock would have rose... do you get it, Harry ? Being close to infrastructure, a grid, pipelines, markets, etc... that are readily available is KEY ! Sure, in 15 or 20 years, maybe the area will be developed... but the gas is stranded unless the company is allowed to FLARE and then only recover the condensate for now. An explorer wants to find a product that is readily and easily marketed and sold for cash flow. WZR doesn't want to build up an entire industry and market and associated Country infrastructure !
Why did I buy back in ? Well, it seemed to have bottomed out... and the oil shows are intriguing to me. So, I am still LONG on the stock.
But I am long for different reasons. Technically, the discovery of a gas condensate field in the middle of nowhere is not great for a junior. It would take BILLIONS OF DOLLARS (I am not kidding) to have gas reinjection; condensate stabilisation; pipelines; NGL recovery; on site electrical generation; logistics; camps; trained personnel; spare parts; water sources; etc... That is a fact. Do some research on similar projects. The field would have to be large enough to justify such a development and a Greenfield Project would probably be at least $3 Billion to develop - depending on size.. "
Great post, but can you tell my, why you are mentioning "Kaosblues" writing factual posts, if the above reflects your opinion? Canadafox yes, but Kaosblues, a pink glasses wearing pumper with too much time?
