Trecker- you have analyzed the situation correctly....
"It means the well is under control and they can attempt to recover the remaining pipe with the conventional drillig rig which is much faster than the snubbing unit"

-In the NR , they clearly stated that "The current operations have proven to take longer than previously estimated due to limited availability of specialized equipment in country."

If they had in fact had access to their state of the art snubbing rig and equipment, as i made note of here a while back and assumed they did... completion of drill string retrieval and resumption of normal operations would have been under way 2 or 3 weeks ago already.
