RE: RE: RE: GET IN NOW ! The field that exxon has supposedly put at risk to come to kurdistan is West Qurna-1, which has about 8.5 billion barrels in oil reserves. The service contract is crap but will be re-negotiated under IOC terms once the O&G law is passed....does anyone here believe that exxon has risked 8.5 billion barrels of reserves to gain access to 'potential fields' in kurdistan? This is either more games on baghdad's side to delay the law until the next auction or exxon is working together with shahristani & co to scoop up kurd contracts without fear of competitive bids.
