RE: RE: RE: Wzr sp
RE: RE: RE: Wzr sp fram; No problemo. As 'wind' says we are all a bit frustrated at present. However, I am reasonably confident concerning K-2 and the upper-Oligocene testing program is probably underway as we speak. The prize here is in the region of 600 MM bbls of light oil if all Kurdamir horizons are productive. This could give WZR one of the largest lo-cost onshore oil finds of recent years. Total oil resources of WZR could be between 800 - 1 Bn bbls at end-2012. The potential could not be ignored by Mr Market when the majors are fighting for pieces of the Kurdi action. From a risk anaysis; it is good to remember that we have two major Sarqala-area wells to come on Garmian during H-2 2012 and also the very-shallow MQ-UB zones. The Garmian PSC alone by end-2012 is very likely to show assets of 200+ MM bbls oil IMO and that would represent almost x2 the current MC. If the BIRs are awarded we should not need further 2012 unding either. Is there a better Kurdi play than this?
