Mil Qasm..
Mil Qasm..Where did you hear they're only expected 1000-2000 Barrels per day from MQ? they're drilling pretty damn close to the 9666BPD reservoir aren't they? Isn't MQ just to prove up extra resources and another way to generate more cash flow from their block?
i mean if we're getting 2-5k BPD with a reduced choke size to reduce flow on the first well. i can't see any reason why we wouldn't get a similar flow rate on this one. I do remember vaguely the last well with 9666bpd was discovered by a sidetrack drill.. this one is simply first try at it.. hopefully we can get good results on the first try.. enough to be commercial etc.. and if they decide to do extra "agitation" to increase flow later that's fine.
Until we have a pipeline there's only so much we can sell and ship. but it would still be super nice to find another big discovery here now that WZR is already derisked.. add in Exxon and KRG/Baghdad getting their stuff settled and we could have a X5 bagger easy. however if the KRG/Baghdad issue isn't settled i fear we'll be sitting on depressed prices way below NAV for awhile.. But i don't know.. i'm confident that this year will finally be the kurdistan oil plans big jump and that will only happen with an official agreement being signed dated and stamped :P
