Oh WOW...those I both continue to watch...I held NXO for way too long. YFI hitting it's second rebirth...I think they are a complete contrast to YDX...YFI has to immediately adapt to various changes in technology...and they do. Whereas Daniel is killing YDX. And like TankRebel said (who I think is also in NXO (I was in it a couple times but missed the peaks lol)...he's right that CEO Daniel is using shareholder trust and money like a mini Disneyland.
Question...how does a corp that comes out with advanced tech 17 years ago from concept to a few short years into a product then into yDreams ($YD)...and lose everything and fall behind?
Answer....because most of the newbies don't know that there was a previous CEO. Then Daniel took over. Daniel moved his wife and son to Vancouver to push yDreams, He even stupidly changes the entire name and symbol because he's thinking it's the company's NAME that's the problem?? He changes the name and symbol. What an idiot. He destroyed legacy branding with a stupid desperate name change...that cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars not just in regulatory changes...paperwork, business cards...all the overhead that was reliably budgeted...he destroyed with a stupid name change.
YDX or YD?
Do you know how unique it is to have either a single or double alpha symbol?? It's identifiable in shareholders' minds. Tell someone to buy YD and they remember the symbol.
yDreams or YDX Innovation?
Which makes you remember it? Which makes you realize you're intrigued by it? Have you seen how plain and ugly the site is? The colors are faded...how does that reflect progress? BRIGHT VIVID COLORS FOR TECH COMPANY DUH.
Use the www.waybackmachine.com and see what yDreams website was before...it was unbelievably amazing. You literally felt like you were investing in a multi-billion dollar company. Look at it now. Faded colors. Boring. Nothing to say we're advanced tech,
And he threw it all away. Without a single market study.
TankRebel is right...Daniel cries and blames everyone else. He's never taken responsibility.
Go back a few years further than the Disney news he bungled...stock did not budge. Then it sank lower. You know what happened?? The bloody fool did a pr and announced some huge global media brand signed a contract (which is this one) but he can't say...and the market assumed he was pumping. And when he actually did announce Disney...stock sank so low that he did 8:1 (my avg $2+).
yDreams used to contend with the big boys...they were bidding on Dubai projects...China's digital city?? He lost the bidding opportunity. That was worth HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS...it would have rocketed yDream into the moon.
yDreams was presenting proposals to a cousin of the ruler.
And Daniel screwed that, too. His overconfidence is offensive.
I remember talking to him on the phone and he said how much he loved the name yDreams. He said it made people say "Why Dream?" He said it made people remember what they do...it made them remember to never stop dreaming of what can be achieved in tech. Yet he changed the entire brand.
What about the crypto pump of yDreams ICO? Oh...and yDreams blockchain. Uh huh.
Daniel pumps everything and it goes nowhere. He gives generous shares to pretty young consultants that never are heard from again...what about this 'equity consultant'? Do you bloody dd before defending a bad CEO.
We have all been here far longer than those making excuses for CEO Daniel. We know his personality. He is as abusive as a partner that psychologically manipulates. He pumps. He lies. He is distracted constantly.
The RTO was a desperate measure. It was not because the board happened to approve it. The halt indicates it was unexpected (as Daniel admits in his desperation to save from being delisted). A prepared RTO would have been given to the regulators and then the back-and-forth before it would be approved...which would mean there would have been NO HALT if this was even remotely anticipated.
Daniel is the tumor of yDreams.
Daniel is the cancer of YD Innovation.
