RE:Why trading 60% under PP price?Over the last few months the stock has drifted down to the 15 to 18 cent range.
I have had shares for 6 months.
The share price does not always reflect the potential. YFI has attracted large players who as far as we know are testing its products in India as well as many other areas in the world. That takes time.
They also have vetern tech specialists looking at adapting the patents they have in others areas. Companies like G2 and Zinwave have bought into the tech and are moving forward with installations. Apple have shown interest and who knows where that will lead too. At least one fortune 500 company have Edgewater making some kind of device.
The venture market is the worst place for start ups. I have written Andrew on several occasions to see if management would consider listing on a bigger/better exchange in the USA and elsewhere to no avail. Management I like and they appear to be tech savvy, however they are not doing the SP any favours as long as we are on the venture. They are not sales people.
The Canadian Government has stated on many occasions it will sponser and back tech companies. So if we do have a game changing technology where is the push to sell the story to investors and business ? Newspapers ? Financial Post ? other media ?
So what you have is a small company with huge potential listing in a sea of other small mining companies surrounded with sharks as investors. Instead of hiring more techies, how about someone who knows how to sell the YFI story ?
Only "good news" is going to change things. Hopefully sooner than later.
