I hope it does not take this long.....
DOCSIS 4.0 Release Date
The DOCSIS 4.0 technology standard has not set a specific release date, however, it will likely become available in networks that consumers use in late 2024 or 2025. This future timeline is dependent on cable operators working with equipment suppliers and system-on-chip (SoC) manufacturers to develop the necessary network components, as well as testing the technology in a lab environment.
That may be more related to the hybrid fibre-coax outside plant segment.
My last post that was basically to show the reasoning of my "outside plant" comment re the cable companies and their fibre-coax network was removed by the community police.
They considered it to be "Advertising". It was a press release/opinion from a writer on the "Lightreading" site and although it is relative to the discussion and to YFI wireless in general the warning was that "blog articles" from other sites are not allowed. All I can say is "Wow!" - are we taking this a little far?
