Cut off grade is now way lower than in the year 2000

Cut off grade is now way lower than in the year 2000When gold was at 240$/OZ in 2000 and that the last miner left the region, there was certainly some, may be a lot of gold left below the cut off grade of the time that is now economical to exploit with gold at 2000$.  Lets look at the Val d'Or region in Quebec that has been producing gold for the last 85 years, it seems that every time price of gold is going up, suddenly, mines that were closed reopen, and they find more gold.  There is no reason a district like Yellowknife that has produced 14 M OZ would be empty.  GLTA
