Thanks for posting ....we were 1300 meters 2 weeks ago... like he says ...good entry point ...this .08-.09 won't last long  we know he is going to be finding more gold in both shears....and going into uncharted depths again never before drilled.  I think there is an investing element out there thinking that it's impossible that Newmont left this with out additional exploration

It's very common, especially for senior mining companies when a site doesn't meet their criteria. Placer Dome completely rehabilitated Detour Lake, including the removal of 180 km of transmission lines to the site. They won a national mine rehabilitation award for their effort if I recall correctly. Fast forward 30 years and the mine is a Jem and a tier one asset.

Good to know ... throws my theory out the door but learn something every day!

Doesn't necessarily throw the theory out the window. The juniors are mostly responsible for new discoveries, grass roots and at historic mines. The seniors typically only discover or expand mineralization at their operating mines. It's easier to just buy something once it has been proven and de-risked. Why mess around with something that has only liability when you can let venture capital

Hey appreciate the comment! there is a lot hanging in this hole no question and we all know the reasons and understand the potential.  but is and as you know only one of May options GP has on this site !
