High-grade iron ore supply to struggle to meet demandInteresting article. The politics surround China imports of iron ore are certainly interesting, but seems unclear to me at this point if that really will manifest as a real effort by the CPP to diversify away from Australia. Easier said than done. Also unclear to me that they will push for those emission reductions and focus more on higher grades. If they do that would certainly be great for companies like VONE. One thing that seems clearer from recent articles is that there seems to be a consensus that iron ore prices will remain well above historical levels. At least for 2021. Again, if true a very good thing for VONE. I am actually shocked prices have remained over $200 for so long.
