You instead get your fruit up front. 

Just a different investment vehicle.  

I doubt loops has any of either.

His reports are sketchy at best.

Interestingly, however the true value of a company is based on the discounted value of all future dividends. Difficult for many to comprehend , however valid non the less . In other words , the value of the assets and their ability to generate profits which over time can be paid out as dividends. That often is a different story than whatever  the current dividend rate may be
