U.S. President Biden seeks to 'expeditiously' re-schedule cannabis, expunge criminal records

Cannabis stocks are soaring on Thursday after U.S. President Joe Biden tweeted plans to pardon thousands of Americans convicted of simple marijuana possession and plans to ask the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Attorney General to “expeditiously” review how marijuana is scheduled under federal law. BNN Bloomberg’s David George-Cosh reports.
