RE:All lies what tourists ?? Lol no planes or boats First of all, most people on cruise ships are not looking for restaurants in Victoria. Second, if they are, most are probably not looking for vegan restaurants. For other tourists, arriving my plane or by car (ferry) from elsewhere in Canada (the provincial border is NOT closed), the second also applies. The VGB in Victoria is one of 2 or 3 go-to restaurants for vegans in the city and surrounding area. They are doing well now, in the Public Market. No reason to assume they won't do as well in a new location. A restaurant in Vancouver will do very well also. You can only make and serve so much food, and they seem to be getting enough business to keep staff employed and diners happy.
