I believe that it was shear who mentioned Glamis as a contender for Eleonore, but I am not sure.
I believe that Goldcorp and Glamis do not like eachother, River Wheaton takeover, so you never know. Goldcorp with their Red lake mine, and tons of cash could also be in the running.
Maybe Meridan too!
I do agree that Newmont would be a great company to take over Eleonore.
Pierre Lassonde with his roots in Quebec, and friendship with Andre IMHO, would put them in great postion
