Is It Significant - Your Thoughts?

VIA showed a lower high and lower low today on increasing volume. Does anyone with detailed info on the trading action today have any insights into what was occuring? I realize that it's only one day but, on the surface, it was a different day than those of late. I also notice that AZM has slowed. Any specific data on how closely it's been tracking VIA? I'm sure that another good NR would change the dynamics very quickly but the increased volume has my attention. It is, after all, the highes volume since August 11 when the stock price hit $8.10. PIB

just a quick look at the daily chart, the swing low to watch would be last weeks $7.30 low...https://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=VIA.TO,uu[h,a]daolyyay[db][pb50!b200][vc60][iLf!La12,26,9]&pref=G I'd be somewhat concerned if volume spiked on a break of $7.30....next stop would be the $7.00 support area. Standing back alittle, we have a nice looking chart........https ...more

I think AZM will track VIA more closely now than it has in the past, especially if mineralization continues to the North, towards AZM's property boundry. With AZM's small market-cap and float, there's a good chance news events may create some spikey price moves.

Thanks for the charts. It does indeed help to take a broader look. As I said, I realize that this was just one days action and your charts also show that the volume spike was not significant. Thanks again. PIB

Flayer, if you like azimut, you have to like everton. everton is now in driver seat on the azimut dirt near eleneore, no? regards paperperson

I agree with your estimate of Day - like Casey and Rule, one of his strengths is zeroing in on competent management teams that believe in the 'prospect generator' model. In VIA's case, I believe he argued that it was simply a matter of time before the company made a major discovery in Quebec - they had an enormous amount of geologically prospective land staked in the province, but had ...more

Excellent point on azimut's thrifty structure! Wish I could buy it. My broker t.d. waterhouse has me stuck in the pink sheets if i want to place online orders. and it is wierd, because theyll accept pink sheet orders on some stuff, including everton, but not on others, including azimut. any suggestions on a better broker? regards, michael aka paperperson
