virginia is a great stock. but don't read too much into the percentage move on one day. this was just a great day for many precious metals stocks. examples: goldcorp up 4.8% bear creek up 12-13 percent kinross up 8 percent. regards paperperson

but don't read too much into the percentage move on one day. You are, of course, right in this regard. However, I avoided names like Kinross and Goldcorp for a reason. I wanted to compare what was happening in somewhat similar stocks that I am a little familiar with. If other juniors have a considerably smaller move than VIA and AZM, it suggests to me that there must be other factors in

Cardero CDU(TSX.V)/CDY(Amex) up 8% plus yesterday and higher again this morning on news of securing drill permits for the Allisitos joint venture with Anglo American (huge IOCG potential in Mexico).

You might also want to keep an eye on FMM. They are drilling right now and any "hits" will cause the stock to soar. It's pushing up against resistance around .70. Once it gets above that, the momentum players will jump on board.
