Mining Friend

A mining engineer who a meet a couple of years ago told me he went to school with Andre and that while everyone thought there was no gold in this location, Andre did. As a result we have what we have today. However my friend indicated that dont be suprised if a big major doesnt buy the hold land package due to the complex land conditions. This is not going to be a cheap mine to develop, but it appears it will be big. A big gold price will help however if this bull market last only another 10 years then this mine may not enjoy the gold value at high levels. This engineer feels that Andre is banking on gold frenzie to sell the mine because more study of the land conditions make not make it very cost effective to develop. That be said the value the following comments are only that. My friend is not God so he is possible dead wrong, but maybe we should consider the hurdles that mat go against VIA selling the property. I know tradergod you may find this message useless, but I take the approach of what if and not its a done deal. For conversation purposes is my mining friend dead wrong or are looking at some complex mining area. What value will be discounted from the overall value per oz given to the property. Is that why canacrap is calculating on low $/oz.

This is interesting in that not too long ago this was being touted as an easy discovery to bring into production at fairly low cost because it looked like much of it could be surface mined. It also benefited from the nearby electric power generation, roads, and its mining friendly Quebec location.
