RE: up three cents

RE: up three cents

VT1 - "I remember posting about this (probably more than once) quite a while back - when the downtrend was still well confirmed and the shareprice was on one of it's temporary weak rebounds - that by working the price down to a new plateau low and then holding it there, it would condition shareholders to get excited about a recovery back to what had previously been considered a painful low.  Eg, back when the share price was slipping under 1.00 I had posted that I'd buy at what was then the unconceivably low price of .75.  Yet now, a rise to .75 would be seen as a big upside move.  Funny how our minds tend to normalize and adjust to whatever the recent past is."

.

Yes, you're correct.... funny how the mind works...  especially when VTR gets back to a level where one breaks even, he/she is so happy, hooray.....?!    And people will stampede out of the stock just breaking even or making a little profit.... This is called overhang problem... which will prevent sp move up quickly..... where there will be pullbacks on the way up, even in a bull market, let alone a sluggish one towards large tonnage low grade deposits like VTR?!.....   I am more like VT1 and less ALLEN4 when VTR hits $.90s (me average).....and will be more like ALLEN4 when VTR hits over $2.00 again...... Having said that, I will be more willing to be depressed (not happy) at $.90s than $.60s though.... LOL...
