Because they're part of the 'not for profit trading club' that manages VTR.  I'm not joking - I can't prove anything, but regional weakness aside, there's something hugely wrong with the way VTR is traded, it's as bad as watching the day-to-day trading action in the gold price, which I'm fairly sure is also traded 'not for profit' by some of the large bullion banks with ulterior motives.
