Are we sure it is a fund?   And why is a fund an insider anyway?   I guess I have a vague recall that if a fund owns 10 per cent of outstanding stock in a company they are an insider, is that it?    I guess they would be an insider because they have the inside track that the company is going is taking a hit because a fund is liquidating its position in the company.
