What I see as a bullish sign is that when people perceived there was a crisis it did have an impact on the price of gold and so gold was performing its safe haven role.  I am confident that we will have future financial crises much more significant than this little Cyprus episode.  So good news is the gold is doing its Safe Haven thing, and also gold investors appear to be seeing through the Cyprus so-called solution to some extent.    Ultimately the POG helps Volta of course, but relationship does not always correspond immediately.
