RE: Weather the storm...

RE: Weather the storm...

Goldflow, at the risk of annoying you again, I disagree on a number of fronts.  There is something that we can do besides weather the storm.  We are at a market extreme, a share price I certainly did not expect to see again.  We are either going off a cliff on the way to zero, we are going to stay at 16 cents forever, or we are going to get some kind of a recovery.  Not many other options.   Seeing our share price at 16 cents is like being handed a lemon and the way to make lemonade is to buy some shares at these levels with whatever resources you have.  If you believe we are going off a cliff and our resources are worth nothing then you sell and take whatever cash you can get.     "This gold price level" means today's price?  I wouldn't build an investment plan around the price of gold on one day.  You need to have a theory about price of gold, and my theory does not tell me that because it is $1260.00 (??) today it will be $1260 next week, next month or in six months.  But even assuming $1260.00 we have a PFS and some numbers to work with.  The assumptions were based on $1375 gold, and that gave us a NPV of $ 550 million or thereabouts; you can plug in different gold prices and do calculations.  There is no doubt that VTR is highly leveraged to the POG.  A few months ago everyone was saying $2,000 POG was a certainty.  Now, based on a few vague comments from the FED everyone believes $1100 POG is a certainty.    In terms of what Kevin is doing, I assume he has slowed things down because earlier predictions were that our money would run out this fall, so I was relieved to see the post including his email that we have money for a year.  As long as we make it to the Bankable Feasibility Study, the doors will open for financing of some sort.  So are situation is not as desperate as you make it out to be.  Gaoua, Kiaka - there is no need to guess at the values of these assets;  they have both been studied extensively.  You do not have to guess.
