RE:Some like hot and some like it not

RE:Some like hot and some like it notMrBigBet, maybe you should organize a shareholder revolt, lol.  Maybe someone needs to stand up to the deal and demand more.   I think the main problem is that the VTR people and/or their potential financiers became bearish on the price of gold (and they may very well be right to have done so), but I agree that if we are in a plus $2,000 POG environment, then 40 cents is not enough.  But that of course is a big "if".   If you look at the various target prices out there for VTR, we had a low of 30 cents and a high of $3.50 which says to me that no one knows how to value our company, and part of the reason is that no one can say with any degree of confidence where the price of gold is going.   I always thought that $1.50 was a minimally fair share price and recall that the CEO of Randgold who presumably knows something about the gold business in Africa, sold his shares at that price.  One of the most thorough reports prepared a few years ago by the young lady (All Singh) also suggested $1.50 at that time, and that was before much of the progress, and expansion of the resource took place.   But since then everyone in the gold sector has been suffering from the fear of a downturn in the Price of Gold.  What if it turns out they are wrong and the gold bull is alive and well?  Then we will be in the same position as the company that sold Essakane to Iamgold for pennies and stood aside to watch Iamgold develop it into a huge money generator.  Good luck to all!
