Computer trading and trying VERY VERY hard to shake that tree, notice that VTR is being held VERY tightly right now, the volume is very low, no real sellers or buyers. That close means nothing, it will snap back higher tomorrow. I agree that the low volume today is such that you can draw very little meaning from the price change.  I do not necessarily buy the manipulation idea though because the price action has two parts to the equation.  Yes there were app. $150,000 shares sold today, and the same number of shares of course were purchased.   And yes someone sold some shares toward the end of the day
