Everybody has Shares To Sell for .80

Level 2 looks light all the way to .90, but somehow everybody seems to suddenly come up with a few thousand they're willing to let go for .80.  Buyers should pull their bids, based on the behaviour of the sell-side they could probably get the price back down to .75 with the overall lack of interest here.

But right now, no one even wants to sell at $.79..... which was briefly skimmed past at the open from $.77 to $.80. . Funny there seems to be a price people want to buy/let go one some day but not on others.... The trend seems to be on the way up with occasional pullbacks..... same for ORE and KGN.... . GLTA

I see the trading as good.....volume marginally higher than usual..(you could debate that comment) but if I was Merrill Lynch and bought a boat load in the .55-.60 range....a 20-25% profit seem ok to pare down your holdings...??  You could argue now those shares are in stronger hands... Depth looks pretty good on the bid side and the ask side is thinning....( but as I said before that can ...more

There's also the German court decision on the constitutionality of the ESM which will determine how freely the ECB can continue to monetize European debt.  That decision could have a big impact tomorrow (on gold, and by extension miners).

yes good point... I don't fully understand the deal they are trying to make there....the plan does not increase the over all money supply...????

Bernanke could change everything just by talking on thursday, but I believe the upward gold trend is back and the so called "Prawn/shrimp" deposits will be attractive....lol.... tick tock...time will tell..... ==================== seems vol is slowing in alot of stocks and even pog is in a holding pattern ... I am thinking that big ben will not come out with a big QE3 plan.. I hope I am ...more

Absolutely that is the risk.....and once again the volitlity could/will prolong the agony in the junior gold market....but the trend is up in my opinion.....the next couple of days will be interesting to say the least.... VTR has a viable deposit (imo)....and very viable at $2,000/oz....their definative assessment next year will tell the story I guess as far as Kiaka goes...

"....the plan does not increase the over all money supply...????"  So they say, but I think that the reality is that when there's more debt supply than demand, there's no way for the ECB to 'sterilize' it.  They might want the market to think that's what they're doing, but I think at the end of the day both the ECB and the FED have no choice but to ...more

Don't forget that we are supposed to be getting some Kiaka south results soon;  someone said they talked to IR who told them wihin two weeks - that was about a week and a half ago, so we should get results soon - and Thursday some QE3, and before the end of the month some news release updates on some other fronts, so the $1.00 mark is easily within reach.    It was just a ...more

Kiaka South - I think we had those results back on August 29th.  The market yawned.

Yes, but are more forthcoming..? A quote for last news release.... The reported drill holes are part of the on-going Phase 4 program of the Kiaka Gold Project. Phase 4 comprises approximately 60,000m of drilling, targeted to delineate and better define the Kiaka South Area Mineralization. This program also includes some drilling to test the area comprised between the Kiaka South Area and the Kiaka ...more

When I originally read it, I took the highlighted section to mean that they would release the remaining results concurrent with the initial Kiaka South resource estimate (so probably not for a few more months anyway).

ALLEN4 - "....someone said they talked to IR who told them wihin two weeks - that was about a week and a half ago, so we should get results soon...." . Ehr... that would be me who said that.... The NR actually was announced one day after I posted that info. Maybe there are more results coming, then I don't know. .https://www.stockhouse.com/Bullboards/MessageDetail.aspx?s=VTR&t ...more

VT1 - "When I originally read it, I took the highlighted section to mean that they would release the remaining results concurrent with the initial Kiaka South resource estimate (so probably not for a few more months anyway)." . I thought the maiden resource at Kiaka South will be announced in Q3 this year? . GLTA

In at least this respect they've become like all other gold companies - overpromise, under-deliver.  Last page of the current presentation now says 'Resource Q4'
