little games within the big game
Its entertaining but I think you guys are overanalyzing. The big game is run by the institutions with high volume purchases. That's when it gets fun. Many of you were around the first time we blasted through $1.00 on huge volume; you could almost see the chart blasting upward on your computer; that was fun! This company still has a large institutional holding. While there has not been any significant institutional buying in a long time by the looks of it, it does not appear that the large instituions have left us either. But these little penny ante games played on low volume; that's mostly the retail segment, trying to make a few cents here and there. It can be significant money for the small time retail investor, but the institutions won't be bothered with it, not on the kind of volume we are doing these days. So have your fun, and keep spinning those conspiracy theories, but don't take it to seriously. Looks like nothing exciting is going to happen with share price and volume at this point. What continues to be exciting is what the company is doing. We are in a region that is one of the last that has not been fully explored, and where "elephant" deposits are being uncovered. Anything can happen. Follow the company story. There won't be news every day, but you can always review web site or past presentations. That's what makes this exciting for me, and of course reading the bullboards; there are some quality posts these days. But I won't get excited about losing and gaining a few pennies here or there. I am waiting for the day we get back into the big leagues with several million shares traded in a day and 20, 30 or 40 per cent gains in a day. At the end of the day, this is the same company that once traded for 18 cents, $2.40, $1.50, $1.90, 75 cents, and $1.20. After a few years, the share prices changes are all just noise. Volta is going to be around for a long time; its not going out of business anytime soon. The one prediction I can give you about the share price is that it won't be the same a month from now, six months from now, three months from now, three weeks from now, eight months from now, and a year and a half from now. So don't take any given day too seriously.
