Yep, automatic selling every 4 minutes appx.by Goldman. Tomorrow it could be Citigroup the next day BMO, NB, RBC etc. Like I said the other day we're are stucked & f???ed at this level of support & resistance at the same time. Free market no longer exist for VTR. Again the rest of gold stocks on my list are green except VTR

TSX should charge these ivnestment houses just like retails..... $10 fee for each trade, instead of these HFT....... to prevent selling 500/1000 shares every so often.... .   Time Price Volume Buyer Seller 11:03:11  0.3950 500 Instinet Canada Ltd. Hey VT1, get ready my friend....... your bid $.37 is coming if you still have the order there..... What a joke...... taking turns beating up this dog to unrecognizable..... . GLTA

gd1 - I cancelled that order a while ago - based on the way the institutions are treating it, I decided I can get a better price than .37 if I wait.  I'm expecting sub-.30 now.  Maybe I'll consider it at .25 - that's a market cap only about 2x cash.
Comment by gold_diggers1 on Feb 14, 2013 1:10pm
But why is the robosell happening to VTR?      Why do these investment houses choose VTR to beat up?     This robosell does not happen with others like RVS, SSP...... . GLTA

What's the point in getting angry about sellers?  Its a free market. Don't take it so personally.  If someone wants to sell their shares they are free to do so for whatever reason.  They are not doing it to hurt you.  If no one is there to pick up the shares they want to sell, then so be it; that is the market.   A lot of you guys are taking this personally ...more

Then you should take this opportunity to add more shares. I will not add at this moment (maybe $0,20) I'm sorry Allen4 but do you really think these are free markets? Just look at the DOW trading near 14,000 & the S&P in record levels  when the gold sector is trading  at new low. The U.S. is bankrupt with almost 50 millions living on food ...more

Of course these are free markets;  no one is putting a gun to anyone's head to buy, to sell, to not buy.....Is there manipulation going on?  Possibly, its a free market people are free to try to manipulate.   As for me buying more shares, I cannot at the moment, I do not have the extra cash on hand.  And I am sure that apply to all the other investors and institutions ...more

Then you should take this opportunity to add more shares   ======================   Well call me nuts but I added another 10,000 at 38 cents.. happen to have one finger free with out a band aid to hit the buy button... ouch!!

Well, it's getting close to the downtrend line (around .36 - 37) and RSI is under .30 again so you might get a tepid bounce, maybe back to .40 or .42.  At this point I'm betting on/waiting for the big capitulation grand-finale - trying to pick up a quick .07 and then watching it go into the big final washout would really be a downer.  Given the insanity of the 'markets' I ...more

Wow, you have it all figured out with these various price points, when it reverses both up and down.  I wish I had those predictive powers.  The fact is that we can continue in a downtrend as long as the negative sentiment is greater than positive sentiment amongst investors.  There is no doubt a great deal of negative sentiment out there for:  the price of gold, the gold ...more

With all due respect, and appreciating your recognition of the value of the company, I don't think I've done that badly at predicting the various fits and stops on this downtrend.  So even though I'm ridiculously underwater on the position that I refuse to sell, at least I've avoided the temptation to buy at the 'bargain' prices of .50, .45 and .40, so now I can buy 2x ...more

This is not helping
Comment by gold_diggers1 on Feb 15, 2013 9:52am
BP - "This is not helping" . I think sp of VTR no longer has any correlation with POG........ POG up -> VTR down, POG down -> VTR down........  now, it's purely based on "hate" sentiment on junior miners and manipulation (selling 500 shares every so often)......... . GLTA
