Papillon

has a market cap of 374 million for a reason.  VTR has a market cap of less than a tenth of that, so its an open question as which is a better investment.  Seems to me Papillon is priced for perfection and VTR is priced for complete failure.  You are more likely to make some money with VTR if you have any confidence in the POG and the company.

Papillon has plenty of upside being currently valued at $45 per oz in the ground and will still go into production if POG drops to $1000 an oz. Upside could be significant if someone moves to acquire them (something that won't be happening anytime soon with VTR). I have no problem with VTR management a they did an efficient job with what they had. IMO though ...more

Curvature, Just a reminder that it was VTR's most prolific pumper, Allen, who posted the article on Papillon, not me. I just commented on it. FYI I was a VTR shareholder but sold in the mid-$0.80's (at a small loss I might add) as soon as the PFS was released as after following Keegan/AKG for years I could see VTR were going to have the same major problems KGN/AKG ...more
