If they have extra cash at hand, the best bet is investing in themselves via shares buy back. Looking through the lens of a seasoned CEO, if you have the confidence that the revenue and valuation is going to grow ~30% per year, and if the stock is not overpriced, then buy back essentially allows the business to earn 30% on that cash and raises the price at the same time. Oil companies do that frequently in years the oil price is up.
