Possible $9 Million hit went down to $2,070,000:

With 77 percent of cases reviewed a Qualified Independent Contractor determined they are all good.

That means only 23 percent are left and the total cost would be $2,070,000 if found incorrect, But I doubt that will happen.

That is about 5 cents per share. But, as I said I doubt they will have to pay a penny.

Think it's more than 5 cents... 7 M$ / 40 M = 17 cents   no ?

No, I think if 77 percent of cases are reviewed, 23 percent are left.  23 Percent   X  9 Million is $2,070,000 $2,070,000   divided by 40,000,000 shares = 5 cents

We say samething.. 77 % were successfull... then it's 17 cents more eps (if 9M$ were discounted in the share price)
Comment by LongTerm3 on May 16, 2022 9:18am
I see what you are saying. Its not the 17.5 cents more earnings.  It's the possible loss Viemed was facing which is the 5 cents per share. Their was no gain from the situation, just a possible loss.
Comment by Trytobelong on May 16, 2022 9:23am
Agree with you, but the market took into account the total loss in the share price, that's why my calculation  :-)

We should take 1 $ today, with this news

probably won't do that today. have to chew through Russell delist news and official ejection end of June then set up for nice buying opportunity
Comment by LongTerm3 on May 16, 2022 10:47am
I am more happy with today's news, and the expectations of 32.1 to 32.8 million in core revenue next quarter.  They can always get back on Russell if they get delisted.
Comment by JackLambert on May 16, 2022 12:27pm
Does anyone have a link to an announcement about Russell delisting?  Please and thank you.
Comment by LongTerm3 on May 16, 2022 1:01pm
Jack,     It's more important that we received today's decision, and the 2nd quarter core revenue could be up 7 percent from last quarter as per guidance.    If people think they are going to get delisted, the stock starts falling before, because people panic over this.    As long as the company is performing well, that is the key.
Comment by JackLambert on May 16, 2022 1:12pm
I agree.   I am wondering if I missed a press release on the alleged de-listing??   Why are people even talking about it?
Comment by LongTerm3 on May 16, 2022 1:30pm
If it happens, it happens. Just focus on the numbers and earnings.  Besstobe has issues with the math!

So what about current claims? Are they off side 23% of the time? As I seem to recall Hoyt saying they didn't change any of their process requirements?  We shall see I guess.  GLTA
