The Brazilian Govt is also onside with this initiative to make Brazil more self sufficient in its fertilizer needs . As it stands right now, Brazil is very vulnerable to shocks in the external sources of potash / fertilizer on which its national security depends. Its trade balance and currency would also be great winners . It would seem that there are no issues obstructing this transition
