Q3 sales

Any sophisticated guesses of what it will be and how the share will react?

Looking ahead to the release of the Q3 numbers on Wednesday November 15, 2023, I was entering possible production tonnage figures for the quarter just ended. This has traditionally been the strongest quarter since production started back in 2019. The following table shows Verde’s quarterly production figures (based on product sold in Tonnes (1,000 Kg) Quarter 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 YoY ...more

What will be interesting are the new excuses and creative attempts to distract our attention from the huge misguidance. Maybe they will announce something halt worthy, such as attending a virtual conference, or some professor joining the esteemed board of directors. I guess we can ask our questions during the Q & A.

Well, if results are as bad as we all expect them to be, the smart move for management would be to accentuate any possitive developments with either good Q4 visibility or significant headway on the carbon credit sales potential front.  It's also important to keep Verde's results in context. The Brazilian Ag sector in general is reporting poor Q3 results so far. Only behemoths like ...more

So I might sell my holdings and buy back in the end of December... nothing positive in sight until 2024

I expect really low sales for Q3. I dont see any signs that suggests the opposite. Oil is up and potash flat and that will probably have stopped them from selling the product to far away customers. CV has mentioned that they wont sell at a loss. My guess is that we will land at 75-85k tonnes for the quarter, and I suspect that the SP will react accordingly. Unfortunately the volume is too low ...more

It's interesting that we are expecting continued share price weakness and yet the daily and weekly charts are showing some interesting divergences. The setup aligns offers polar symmetry in comparison to when the stock was hitting 10 year highs and most of us here were still looking higher. Certainly not saying the sp weakness doesn't continue but I did want to point out the contrarian ...more

At this share price i am very comfortable, beeing a shareholder for  5 years and sold some on the way as well . But looking back and sometimes chatting with the CEO and where the company is compared to 4-5 years ago it is a cheap price and see no reason to panic

Hello Rudinm. I concur with your observation that Verde is a very different Company today than it was when the share price was last at $1.40. The built out in place capital infrastructure at the mine site, with Plant 2 fully operational and the road from this location to Plan1 fully weatherized, is a significant improvement in value.  Would you intend to add to your current position if we ...more

yes i would buy below 1$ since verde is profitable...
Comment by DiggeDiego on Nov 07, 2023 9:45am
...was profitable. Do you think that will be the case with 80-100k produced with interest rates, oil and tax? I'm seeing red numbers next week...

I'm estimating flat to slightly positive ebitda but between $1.5 - $2M net loss. Hope I'm overly bearish and results turn out better though.
