What are the chances of any other bids coming forward?!?!?!?!

Id like to know that answer to that too, but the question i have is what price would the other bids be? 50 cents higher maybe? i think there could be other interested parties but how much more are they going to pay? does anyone think this company is worth more than 16.25? if so how much more and why?

The implications of an article I read recently in the Financial Post suggests that an auction took place (behind closed doors, of course, because thi is Canada) and Glencore was the winner. If that's actually the case, there will be no further bidding. Somebody else wuld have to pout together the same kind of deal with a strong Canadian component, or offer ASgrium and Richardson a better deal ...more

Yeah,This is a done deal.ADM said price went too high for them,so they didn't bid after the Glencore offer.Looks like no further offers coming. With inclusion of 2 Canadian companies,Glencore's offer likely to get the OK from govts.

The way the cookie crumbles... ... IMO, a few quarters of good growth reflected with good numbers and we would've gotten much higher reward. That said, for me was an excellent return in a short time. This was an investment grade operation, so much so, that it's gone to be part of others portfolio.
