Chinese pollution
Chinese pollution
A study by the municipal environmental protection agency shows that rare-earth minerals mining is the main source of China's pollution problems. The mining/processing causes heavy pollution. Residents of what is known as the "rare-earth capital of the world" are inhaling solvent vapour, particularly sulphuric acid, as well as coal dust, etc... clearly visible in the air. China needs an alternate route... and that route is IMPORTING RARE EARTHS. Attached below are a few pictures of China's pollution problem.
